Muay Thai could soon be included in the summer Olympics.
The ICO executive voted to provisionally recognise Muay Thai (along with Cheerleading). We now have a 3 year trial period where the ICO committee will decide if they will fully recognise Muay Thai.
This could be massive for Muay Thai. Athletes will finally get the recognition they deserve.
Some countries may be able to financially support the athletes.
